Land Grading

Preparing a property for landscaping involves clearing (if necessary), leveling the land (by cut and fill), filling a trench, laying turf, or spreading topsoil.

Grading is also necessary to construct paving stone structures (decorative walls, retaining walls, patios, paths, stairs, outdoor fireplaces, or outdoor kitchens).

Land can also be prepared for the construction of a concrete slab foundation for a spa, balcony, patio, garage, etc.

You will also need excavation, leveling, and soil compaction before installing a pool. A trench grading will then be performed for burying the connections.

Proper ground preparation before paving stone installation ensures a solid base and prevents settling.

The process involves excavating to remove clayey soil and replacing it with firm soil. Then, the ground is leveled, gravel is added, compacted, and a geotextile membrane is applied. We will also grade the soil around the paving stone installation area.

Our team will then lay the paving stones on this solid base that will not sink and will efficiently drain rainwater.
